Along with the rest of the Album, this song was produced by Rick Rubin [Red Hot Chilli-Peppers] and his style and influence is obvious. This has a more mainstream pop-rock sound, than the traditional country direction that the previous album “Home” suggested.
This song is a Dixie Chicks original [like all the songs on this album] and is powerful – both in the lyrics and music [dealing with Natalie Maines' political comments].
