Israeli soldiers harvested Palestinians’ organs

Sweden’s largest newspaper has reported that Israeli soldiers harvested the organs of Palestinians after seizing them from the West Bank and Gaza.
The report in the newspaper Aftonbladet cites Palestinian sources alleging that Israeli soldiers detained young men, then returned their bodies with organs missing.
The report is accompanied by photographs that appear to show a young man whose torso has been sliced open, then sowed back together.
“‘Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors,’ relatives of Khaled from Nablus said to me, as did the mother of Raed from Jenin as well as the uncles of Mahmoud and Nafes from Gaza, who all had disappeared for a few days and returned by night, dead and autopsied,” journalist Donald Boström in his report, according to a translation printed on the website of the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
In one incident described in the article, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian demonstrator, Bilal, in the chest, both legs, and stomach, then airlifted him away on a military helicopter.
Five days later, the report states, the young man’s body was returned, wrapped in green hospital sheets. Boström says Bilal’s chest had been cut open and the organs removed.
The article also makes a link to the recent exposure of a crime ring in the US state of New Jersey, where several American Rabbis have been charged with conspiring to broker the sale of a human kidney needed for a transplant.
A rival Swedish publication has accused Aftonbladet of anti-Semitism over the report.
