Climate Activists Expose the Naked Truth Behind Edelman PR

Today at 8:45, Climate activists, some naked, have occupied the roof and window of Edelman PR on 105 Victoria St(1), the firm behind EON’s glossy green spin on Kings north (2) power station. The world’s largest independent PR company are helping EON in their efforts to rebuild Kingsnorth into the first coal fired power station the UK has seen in 30 years. Activists have occupied the lobby and the entrance to demonstrate the truth behind EON’s Kingsnorth campaign, that we cannot continue to burn coal, the world’s dirtiest fossil fuel, in the face of catastrophic climate change. 2. Kingsnorth power station is the flagship project in a series of new coal fired power stations.
3. EON are also the company behind the Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station, which activists will be shutting down in the October. Ratcliffe is the second-biggest coal station in England, producing 13 million tonnes of CO2 in a year.
