Italian Prime Minister – Silvio Berlusconi is said to be recovering in hospital after an assault left him covered in blood on Sunday. He suffered two broken teeth, broken nose, cuts to his lip and a bruised ego after being struck by a man wielding a souvenir model of the city’s cathedral.
